Bruno Gecchelin

Bruno Gecchelin, born in Milan in 1939, graduated in architecture from Milan Polytechnic School in 1976. He then opened a design studio specializing in various product areas, from car accessories to furniture and household items.

His interest in technology led him to focus on designing lighting fixtures, emphasizing both design and technical aspects. Over his four decades in this field, he created over a hundred lighting models, ranging from decorative pieces to technically advanced products used for commercial, museum, and urban lighting.

Throughout his lengthy career, he received numerous international awards, including the BIO Ljubljana, the iF Product Design Award in Hanover, and three Compasso d’Oro Awards in 1989, 1991, and 2004.
