The Cultivated Eye

Conceived as a residential interior, the exhibition explores collecting as an act of transmission: a way of seeing, understanding, and preserving objects of cultural and material significance.
Bringing together historical pieces, one-off works by leading voices of 20th-century design, and contemporary works, the exhibition traces a continuity across decades of modern design. Presented in a domestic setting, the works become part of the rhythm of daily life, reflecting a commitment to craftsmanship, longevity, and material intelligence.
In collaboration with Galerie Gastou, Paris, the exhibition is extended through a more radical and sculptural vocabulary, with works by Philippe Hiquily, André Dubreuil, François Cante-Pacos, Agnès Debizet, Mario Ceroli, and Victor Roman.
